Our exclusive system of horizontal rotating toasting guarantees the exact reproduction of toasting, creating consistent aromatic profiles selected by the winemaker for the toasting of their barrels.
This system utilizes ceramic plates controlled through computer programming. This allows us to manufacture barrels with complete control over the time and temperature curve, creating profiles that may be produced at any time regardless of external conditions.
Every profile is perfectly adaptable to the palates of each winemaker and the needs of each wine. It is our precision and consistency that exemplifies our commitment to innovation.
Although with TRH there are as many different toasting possibilities as there are wine flavors across the world, we currently have a catalogue of more than 50 different perfectly defined and fully reproducible profiles.
Of these profiles, we have selected 5 specific profiles that have shown to excel in various varietals and wine making styles of North America.
Within the natural constraints of traditional fire toasting, it is very difficult to truly adjust flavor and aromatic profiles to meet the wants and demands of winemakers today. With our TRH system it is possible, it is customizable, and it is repeatable.
